Converla

Team, roles & workspace settings

A unified inbox only works when the right people have the right access. This guide covers inviting members, roles, and the settings most teams touch in the first week on Converla.

Owners and workspace admins

Before you start

  • Owner or admin access on the brand workspace.
  • Available seats on your plan for new members.
  • Work emails for teammates who will accept invitations.

How to

Open Team → Members

Review who already has access. Check plan seat remaining before inviting so you do not hit limits mid-onboarding.

Define roles and permissions

Use Team → Roles to understand owner, admin, and agent scopes. Give agents inbox access without handing out billing or integration credentials unless required.

Send invitations

Invite by email, assign a role, and ask the teammate to accept. Pending invites are not active agents until accepted.

Tune essential workspace settings

Set language preferences, notification defaults, and brand basics so agents open a consistent Arabic or English admin experience.

Tips

Least privilege by default

Most agents need inbox + assignment, not payment or Meta credential screens. Expand access only when the job requires it.

One brand workspace per storefront

Keep conversations and roles isolated per brand. Mixing stores in one workspace confuses assignment and reporting.

Examples

Owner: billing + integrations. Admin: team + channels. Agents: inbox only.

Admin → team, channels, knowledge
Agent → inbox, assignment

Troubleshooting

Invite email never arrives.

Ask the teammate to check spam, confirm the email spelling, and resend the invite. Ensure they open the accept link while logged out of a different account if needed.

Member accepted but cannot see chats.

Confirm role includes inbox access, they joined the correct brand workspace, and filters are not hiding conversations.

Cannot invite — seat limit reached.

Remove unused members or upgrade the plan. Seat limits are enforced so billing stays predictable.

Frequently asked questions

How do I invite team members to Converla?

Open Team → Members, choose Invite, enter a work email, pick a role, and send. The teammate must accept the invitation before they can work in the brand workspace.

What is the difference between admin and agent roles?

Admins typically manage team, channels, and settings. Agents focus on conversations in the unified inbox. Exact permissions follow the roles configured for your workspace.

Can bilingual teams share one workspace?

Yes. Converla supports Arabic and English admin experiences so bilingual teams share history while working in their preferred UI language.
